Engage your viewers with a rich, high brightness, flicker-free display solution.
It’s easy to entertain and inform your audience when they’re focused on your content, rather than the display. With their wide colour gamut, that’s 115% of the NTSC broadcast standard, and ultra-high definition imagery, MicroTiles helps you communicate your message clearly, and efficiently.
Whether they’re being used to provide built-in ambience to a set, or a video wall backdrop, MicroTiles are broadcast-ready in seconds, as their continuous automatic calibration means they require no specialist tuning in order to appear correctly on screen. The self-aware tiles maintain colour depth, brightness and colour temperature of up to 3200K uniformly across the array. This means that they present a consistent image.
Whether the display needs to be free-standing or built into the set, the modular, building-block nature of MicroTiles means that displays of any shape or size are easy to build, don’t require any specialist tools or winches, and are easy to reconfigure and redeploy when the show is over.
Their shallow depth enables MicroTiles to fit into the design of a broadcast set, where other display solutions would add unnecessary bulk. The lightweight tiles mount easily on a wide variety of flat surfaces, at any angle, or simply snap together to form a free-standing display, that doesn’t need any special racking or frames to support it.
Bring your set to life by adding the Christie Interactivity Kit the display. From weather forecasts to post-match punditry, the addition of the kit to a MicroTiles display, allows it to respond to the touch of presenters in real time.
Optimised for MicroTiles, the kit is a modular, self-calibrating system that uses Baanto™ ShadowSense™ technology to add a multi-touch interactivity to any display, regardless of size. Standard USB connection allows the touchscreen to be recognised by Windows or Mac operating systems, and supports upwards of 24 touches on a 16×6 array.
